Ready-Steady-Stamp Four

I've never used canvas before but I suppose that's what these challenges are all about, getting outside your comfort zone and trying something new. I've never considered myself arty never did art at school and even matchstick men are a bit of a challenge. But I must say I liked working with the canvas. I bought a small one about the size of an A5 card so that I was on familiar ground. Once I got the brayer out no problems I was off .
I used a piece of cut off card left on my desk seeing it had brown on and started from there. If you notice I haven't inked the edges of the chipboard letters wow did I have to restrain myself but I wanted them to look stark against the background.
Inks are Distress- frayed burlap,, scattered straw, shabby shutters
Emboss powder Distress vintage photo, Stamp- flower, don't know , sentiment, stampers anonymous
