Catch Up

I need to catch up on my blog so I'm going to try to post every day...... we'll see how long that lasts!
So I'm going to start with a workshop day at http://www.craftyindividuals.co.uk/. Jean treated us to a day of fun making a lovely shadow box. I've seen these before but I wouldn't dream of tackling one on my own. We used those Viva Coco metallic paints (I think thats what they're called) that create a fab crackled appearance. Usually at Jeans I take ages to get going and can easily while away the time just choosing the colour scheme. But no today was different there was an air of urgency and I could feel the pressure . Slacking would not be allowed!!! We were plied with tea, coffee, biscuits, and chocolate and lots of encouragement from Jean. By 3.30 energy levels were low but I could see the finish line and with extra effort we FINISHED. For those who have read my blog this is a result that I don't often achieve.
I also got to meet up with the lovely Chris so pop over to her blog here for more lovely photos.

Sorry my photos are in the wrong order ........must try harder!

Thanks for calling , Enjoy

  6. Wasn't it a fab day? Love yours. Funny how we all used the same paints and ended up with a different finish.

Mine is up on the wall in my hall now for all to see - and if they don't notice I drag them to it. lol

  7. This is a great box. It would be a wonderful way to show off twinchies and inchies. I really like the effect the paints have made. :)
