Hanging around?

Ok so what have you been up to whilst confirned to the craft room? Well I have been hanging around, not literally, but working on a couple of wreaths. This one is made using a mitten die from sizzix.
I've used Crate Paper, Snow Day and a Martha Stewart button punch .
I've used faux stitching to outline the mittens.
On the wreath below I've used Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers and Leaves dies. The paper was some ghastly sheets I got in a pack. It was pictures of huge ribbon gift bows but now it has been cut down you can barely see the pattern. Which just goes to show you can just about use anything in crafting.
I've also used my cuttlebug embossing folder, swiss dots to add texture to the leaves.
The sentiments are from one of my favourite sets by Purple Onion which I got from 3djean. Twine is from my favourite Ribbon Girl.
So what have you been creating whilst hanging around?

A little birdie told me.....

This week in class I have been teaching the tri-shutter card. These are really easy to make as they are basically a tri -fold card with two horizontal cuts. For all the instructions hop over to Splitcoaststampers and follow the pictures. What I like about this card is that it can be used for lots of different occasions and they look so impressive.

For the birdie card I've used DCWV Nana's Nursery Boy paper, Hero Arts birds and bird cage stamps, Tim Holtz die cut flowers.

The anniversary card is made using Basic Grey Sugar Rush paper, Doodle heart stamps (which I love) from Purple Onion all from 3djeans.

Borders

I've just my hands on these lovely border stamps from 3Djean.

They're a bargain at £2 each and I thought they would be so useful on mens cards. Here I've used the cards as a border over some resist background paper. I've used the skull and cross bones on a card over at Scattered Scarlet pop over and have a look, but don't blame me if you have to buy them!

I don't believe it!

OMG I've been invited onto the design team of the new blogspot for 3djean. I'm so excited I've never been on a design team before so it's a new experience. I love 3djean she has an amazing range of stash at great prices. I'm joining wonderfully talented people so I hope some of it rubs off on me. Pop over and see who else is there.
